It’s pretty well accepted that the NAFD president’s chain is the best in the business, but when Philip Blatchley stood alongside the Golden Casket at the NFDA Expo, he had to admit he’d met his match. O.K., the casket wasn’t solid gold, but it certainly shone as bright. Expect to see more of this casket at next year’s NFE [...] Its difficult to describe New Orleans, venue of the NFDA Conference and Expo 2010. the event itself was certainly the best American show I’ve seen, but the city made everything come alive. The picture is from a full New Orleans funeral procession, in honour of those who had died in the last year. I was a second liner in the procession, [...] We are off to New Orleans for the NFDA expo tomorrow, and I wanted to get something of the feel of a traditional funeral out there.
