FRIENDS AND RELATIONS at NFE
Friends and Relations were delighted to be appointed by the NAFD to create their Online Memorial Book. The team responsible for creating this innovative online “book” will be manning a stand for the first time, where there will be a big “Cornish” welcome for all!
The success of the Online Memorial Books has been twofold:
Firstly, families who have lost a loved one are taking great comfort in the gift of being able to create a “Celebration Page” where photos and precious memories can be recorded. Friends and relations from all over the world are visiting these pages to leave their thoughts, stories and messages of condolence for the family.
Secondly, because families nominate a charity on their “Celebration Page”, it is simple to make direct online donations. The charity receives 100% of this money and can claim gift aid. Funeral directors are relinquishing the burden of collecting, accounting for and reporting cash donations – and concentrating on the other important aspects of organising a funeral instead.
Members of the NAFD have FREE access to this facility. It is simple to use and of real value to the families you serve. Even if you have never used a computer before, we can show you how names can easily be added in less than a minute!
Come and meet the Friends and Relations team on Stand B4c (hall 2) to find out how we can help funeral directors save time and money, improve market share and even generate additional income for your firm!

WHO ARE YOU?
Ever wondered about the stories behind the war medals stored in the box of memorabilia up in your loft? Friends and Relations feel privileged to have created Online Memorial Books for British servicemen and women who have lost their lives in conflicts past and present. Stop by stand B4c to look at some of the lovely stories or search for your relatives in the Battle of Britain Memorial Book which they are currently working on. Adding your personal thoughts and memories to these pages will ensure that your family history is preserved for generations to come.
Members of the armed forces who have died recently in Iraq or Afghanistan are also commemorated in two online “Books of Remembrance”. Recognising the bravery and sacrifice of Britain’s military is a positive way to express our thanks.
Online Memorial Books are a wonderful way to remember and preserve history. Why not come to see us and discuss having one of your own…
